Cat Fused Mosaic

I used to tell people what species it is but after tons of people telling me it looks like ____ or it looks like ____ I decided it would be better to just leave it up to the viewers interpretation

The medium is fused glass. It was tack fired which is why it has this texture (tack firing refers to a fusing that heats the glass up just enough that the glass fuses into a single piece. a full fusing heats the glass to a temp that causes it to become flat. FYI for those people who don't know about fused glass) the back of the piece is sand blasted which made the clear glass matte
